All of the measuring tools have suddenly stopped working correctly. A 10 inch circle will dimension as 144.1. A 1 inch line will dimension as 14.4. I checked the application and drawing preference options and found nothing out of sorts. running windows 10, 64 bit and tried installing the latest version of qcad. Same problem. Any help appreciated.

Please check the scale for dim tools - you will find it in the option box after you launched a dim tool.
The scale should be 1:1 or 1"=1"
